| Job Overview | The Senior Estimator/Operations Manager position requires direct management of the Staff Estimator team along with the co-management responsibility of the Office Manager. | Qualifications | Five years of experience as an Electrical Estimator Thorough knowledge of the electrical field Familiarity with electrical materials and construction methods, including requirements for different construction types (residential, commercial, industrial) Thorough knowledge of NEC Code and NFPA 72 is essential Strong computer skills which include Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Express, ACT, etc.) Electrical Estimating Software experience with one or more of the following: o Vision InfoSoft EBM o Accubid o McCormick o Conest o Mc-squared Highly organized and enjoy working in a fast paced environment Effective speaking skills for communicating with electrical contractors, estimators/project managers, electrical engineers, and architects Leadership skills Strong code of ethics Attention to details Service oriented, good people skills Good with paperwork Mathematics aptitude Individual must be able to multi-task Meet deadlines on time |
