About Electrical Enlightenment Inc.
Electrical Enlightenment, Inc. was founded in June of 2000 by Ron Soltis. The company engaged in electrical contractor training throughout the United States. The training was focused on contractors needs for business development, labor management, and estimating. In 2001 a shift in the U.S. economy had changed the needs for training. During the training the company realized that there was a need for quality estimating. The shift to providing estimating services to electrical contractors was immediate. Electrical Enlightenment, Inc. turned its focus to electrical estimating.
Today, Electrical Enlightenment, Inc. estimates over 1000 jobs annually. We have a staff of full-time estimators with a combines 300 years of experience. Each member of our estimating team is required to complete a standardized training program developed by the founder. The estimator receives continuous training and code updating during employment with the company.
In 2007additional estimating services for the mechanical, ventilation and plumbing trades were added. The new company is called Plumbing Enlightenment, Inc. Information is available at www.plumbingenlightenment.com. In the wake of adding Plumbing Enlightenment, Inc. we placed both estimating companies under an umbrella company now called Enlightenment Companies. This created a continuity of estimating services covering the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) trades throughout the world.
Our estimators use the Vision EBM estimating system as well as Accubid 10 to prepare estimates. We employ multiple cross-checking for bidding accuracy throughout the estimating procedure on all take-off worksheets. We provide you with the confidence and professionalism your company requires.
